1) You must have Pro Media Director. It comes with a USB Cable to plug into your PC & your Sony PSP.
2) Obviously the small end of the USB Cable goes plugged into the top of your PSP, and the other end goes to any USB Port on your PC with Pro Media Director installed.
3) Boot up your PSP without a game disc in, or just open up the disc tray slot. You need to boot to the PSP browser.
4) Scroll all the way over to the left in the 'Settings' options.
5) Go all the way to the very top option and then down 1 to the 'USB Connection'.
6) Press the 'X' button on 'USB Connection'. Leave your PSP at this spot, you are done with the PSP setup side.
7) Now open up Pro Media Director from one of the Shortcuts it created when you installed it.
8) From here you can do 1 of two things.
a) You can use Pro Media Director's Internet option to browse the files on our webpage directly from the program.
b) You can download the file here manually to your \\Saves folder that is used by Pro Media Director.
9) Method 'A' is fairly straight forward, but I'll explain anyways.
a) Goto the game saves tab in the upper left of the program.
b) The files on the right are your PMS files found on your PC. Select the drop down box above the list and choose game saves Found Via Internet.
c) Then scroll to the game save you want to download and click on it. It will change in color to Red Text on a Black Bar.
d) Lastly press the '< Copy' button. The one with the arrow pointing towards the PSP Devices found.
e) It will download the save for you as you notice the progress meter going up and your done. Your newly downloaded game save will appear on the PSP device on the left.
10) Method 'B' is almost just as easy.
a) Click the above link to download the PMS file to your PC. (Obviously choose Save/Save As and not Open.)
b) Save it the folder you have installed Pro Media Director to. By default, Pro Media Director installs to C:\\Program Files\\Electro Source, LLC\\Pro Media Director. This is where you will find the \\Saves folder.
c) Press the Refresh button the upper right hand of the program. It will now find the new save you have just saved there.
d) Now click on the game save you want to copy. It will change in color to Red Text on a Black Bar.
e) Lastly press the '< Copy' button. The one with the arrow pointing towards the PSP Devices found.
f) There is no progress bar showing the transfer yet, but if you want a second or two the window will refresh and your save will be on the left.
11) Pick up your PSP and press the Circle button to exit out of the 'USB Connection'. Scroll to the far right to the 'Games' options. Insert your PSP game, close the tray and then select the UMD option.
12) Now you're playing the game you have just downloaded a game save for. Some games will auto load your save, and some games you'll have to find the load option manually. If you are unsure, refer to your Game Manual for the game you are currently playing.
